Can I solve a bed bug infestation myself?
We can be brief about this: with the knowledge and resources available to private individuals, this is actually impossible.
I haven't traveled, could I still have bed bugs?
The chance is small, but it is possible that bed bugs can come through neighboring residences (like apartments). They may also have traveled in a visitor’s bag or in your own bag from work.
If I have my bed bug infestation treated by you, will I be immediately rid of my infestation?
In a situation we describe as an ‘early-stage infestation’, which is active for a maximum of 1.5 months, the success rate of the first treatment by RACO is between 90 and 95%. We always inform in advance that follow-up care after 4-6 weeks may be necessary.
Can I still visit people if bedbugs have been found in my home?
Yes, that’s correct. However, it is important to move as few items as possible from the infested room. When transporting items, it should preferably be done using plastic bags, and no bag or suitcase should be taken out of the infested room.
What do bedbug eggs look like?
The bedbug eggs look like grains of rice but are about 1/5th of that size.
